Effective January 1st/2025 Lanark Highlands has transitioned to producer responsibility for Recyclable Materials. Lanark Village residents will notice additional Waste and Recycling vehicles within the Village starting Friday, January 3rd/2025. Residential Recycling pick-up within Lanark Village will now be managed by Miller Waste. No changes will be made to material collected and residents can expect to continue to recycle as usual. The Township of Lanark Highlands is taking several steps to address issues related to municipal audits, a 2024 budget insurance error and upcoming financial challenges for 2025.
