The Township seeks a dependable and motivated individual with knowledge of handling Household Hazardous Waste.

The qualified candidate is required to have a Grade 12 or post-secondary education and will report to the Public Works Manager. Responsible for inspecting, receiving and sorting all hazardous waste material delivered to the Hazardous Waste Depot at the Middleville Waste Site. Duties include data collection of quantities and types of materials, dealing with the general public, various agencies, and internal staff.

Salary range: $17.55 to $21.76 per hour, commensurate with experience. Based on a minimum 6-hour work week commencing tentatively May 17^th, 2025, to tentatively October 11^th, 2025, however consideration will be for a minimum 12-hour work week as per below:

Hours of Operation are:

Monday         3:00 pm to 6:00 pm (tentative)

Wednesday    5:00 pm to 8:00 pm (tentative)

Saturday        9:00 am to 3:00 pm - HWD is open on Saturday when Waste Site is open
